How do I know if Concha Sol™ Hearing Aids will work for me?
The Concha Sol™ over-the-counter (OTC) self-fitting wireless air conduction hearing aids are intended to amplify sound for individuals with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss.
If you have severe to profound hearing loss or experience no hearing loss symptoms, this product may not work for you.
How will Concha Sol™ Hearing Aids affect my hearing?
The goal of Concha Sol™ Hearing Aids is to help you hear more clearly by amplifying sounds, clarify speech, and experience environmental sounds. You can create sound profiles to personalize your hearing settings to your individual needs and your environment.
A hearing aid can benefit many people with hearing loss. However, a hearing aid will not prevent or improve a medical condition that causes hearing loss.
People who start using hearing aids often need a few weeks or even months to get used to them. Our customer care team is here to assist you with any questions you have about your device.
If you have hearing loss in both ears, you might get more out of using hearing aids in both, especially in situations that make you tired from listening - for example, noisy environments.
What is the difference between going through Soundscope® and getting an audiogram?
An audiogram is a standard test that measures your hearing thresholds in a quiet environment. However, it doesn’t directly translate to a sound profile—the sound settings in your hearing aids that help you perceive complex sounds like speech in real-world environments. Soundscope® is our patented self-fitting technology that dynamically optimizes your sound profile based on your real-time responses to speech and sounds. Rather than producing an audiogram, Soundscope® generates a personalized sound profile—the actual settings on your hearing aids.
Can I wear my Concha Sol™ Hearing Aids when working out? Are they sweatproof?
Yes, they are water resistant including sweatproof! You can wear them while running, playing pickleball, and lifting weights. However, similar to your smartphone, don’t bring them into the shower or pool. (A good way to remember where to not wear them — similar to lenses — are the three S’s: sleeping, showering, and swimming.)
